\n
\nSo I have started to think about this unit a bit and thought that perhaps we could set up our unit sort of like the teaching music through performance book does. So I propose we divide our unit up something like this:
\n
\n1.)Musical elements (syncopation, mixed meter, mode?)
\n2.)Performance (actually playing the piece, perhaps spread out amongst the other parts?)
\n3.) Composition (programatic music, the alley, perhaps create their own?)
\n4.) Composer (who is this guy anyways)
\n5.) Listening (listen to other programatic music- perhaps an assignment)
\n
\nPerhaps a couple of activities in each section?
\n
\nI have also been looking at the OMEA website which has that GPS thing for learning fundamentals and I was thinking that we could adapt some of their activities for our project, I will put some of those up on a musical elements page in a minute.
\n
\nSee you tomorrow!","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
